Have had Sat radio since 2002 Listen every single day M-Friday on my computer and never have issues. About every 10 minutes I lose connection and have to restart the station. Not sure what's going on but it the comment that pops up is that Sirixu XM is having technical difficulties.
Odd that this page states there are NO technical difficulties. :( Fortunately, the show I listen to posts it as a podcast daily, so I'll wait until later to listen but this issue should really be addressed.
It’s crazy that a world of digital music still can’t compete with satellite radio for convenience in the car.
No, this blog post is not about the obvious ethical bankruptcy of the FCC or of large media conglomerates like Sirius XM.It worked fine for the first few weeks after I subscribed, but now their servers seem to be frequently overloaded or just seriously in need of an overhaul! Frustrated and disappointed at their horrible service and hoping it changes soon!!I have been listening from Hong Kong daily for over a year, and now get a message "content unavailable, try another channel" so they stop allowing streaming outside US and don't even bother to let a user know that is a paying customer and is outside the US that their policy has changed?? Talked to listener care and apparently Sirius has cutoff any users trying to stream outside of the US and Canada for "security reasons." What a joke!I have let them know this is unacceptable and will continue to do so.Fellow oversea subscribers, make your voices heard by Sirius until they give us our service back!
Fix DNS Problems A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs.
